Ana Lucia Negri was born in Lima in 1985.
She studied Audiovisual Communication at the Catholic University of Peru and later an MA in visual arts and photography at Sint-Lukas Brussel.
Eversince, she has worked paralelly in Lima and Brussels.
With a major interest in psychology and human mind, her work portrays spaces that can both exist in reality or in a mental space. Working with the unlikeness of her surrounding cultures, she puts environment under a magnifying glass and creates a glance that can make us drive within an imaginary universe.
Con un especial interés en la psicología y la mente humana, su trabajo retrata situaciones que pueden tomar vida tanto en la realidad como en un espacio mental. En donde el imaginario personal construye imágenes complementarias basadas en el bagaje propio.
